Since before he landed his first job in radio, Eric has been deeply interested in both the art and science of communicating. Growing up in the Detroit area, he (like millions for more than 30 years) was fascinated and entertained by the work of Ernie Harwell, play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Tigers. By the time he was 20, Eric was spinning records and writing radio advertising copy -- and winning acclaim for radio, film and video production at a regional and national level.

A Personal Note

Great opportunities are presented thanks to great friends, mentors, employers and leaders. These individuals share in the successes enjoyed by any with whom they connect. Recognizing this, I am honored and humbled to share what a few of the individuals with whom I have worked have to say about the experience.  -- Eric

Benchmarks, metrics and measures play a critical role in projections, definitions and decisions. But what if the metrics are incomplete? What if the measure doesn't tell the whole story?
